You are our most valuable asset!

Our volunteers are what make our entire organization work! Without you we can not do what we were established to do. Your time is valuable and we appreciate any of it that you are willing to donate to our amazing group. There are so many ways for you to get involved and we encourage everyone to find the right area or areas for you. Providing Water for the Students

Band Support

Uniforms:
The volunteers are the backbone of performance days. They care for, maintain, organize, distribute and collect uniforms for all of our performances.

Chaperones:
Parent chaperones assist the band during all events. They help the students get ready, make sure all items that are needed are either on the field or packed for away events. You can help for one event or many. For the safety of our students, all parent chaperones are required to undergo a background check through the school at their own expense as well as attend chaperone training and sign a chaperone agreement.

Band Camp Lunch Helpers:
Our band students work VERY hard during band camp. The Boosters provide healthy and filling lunches for the students, staff and assistants at band camp. Parent helpers are needed to prepare, serve and clean up after lunch. This is a great way to get to know other parents and meet all the band students. If you feed them, they will love you forever!

Fund Raisers

Car Washes:
Every summer our band hosts several car wash events. Students are encouraged to participate to get to know each other as well as earn money for their IFAs. Parents are needed to help supervise and make sure the students are doing a proper job cleaning the vehicles for our generous patrons.

Basketball Concessions:
Volunteers are needed to work the concession stands during home basketball games for both men and women's games. Duties include setting up and preparing food items for the evening, preparing and selling items during the game and cleaning up upon close. This is a VERY important fundraiser as it provides a significant amount of money for the Band Booster program.

Spirit Item Sales:
We need volunteers to assist at the spirit sales table selling items at the home football games. This involves helping to set up prior to the game and helping to close up prior to halftime.

Split The Pot Sales:
If you are a people person and love hanging out at the home football games, this is the volunteer opportunity for you. This activity involves working the crowd and stands to sell split the pot tickets prior to the game and up to half time. This is a great way to see new faces, say hello to folks you know, and earn some money for the Band Booster program.

Vinoklet Winefest:
This is one of our most fun and more profitable fundraising events. Vinoklet is an art & wine festival and our volunteers staff ticket, sample, wine and beer booths at the event while earning money for our Band Booster program. It is a beautiful location, a fun atmosphere, and you can invite your friends and family to come volunteer with you as well.

Little Miami Marching Band Festival:
Each year we host bands from all over the state for our Marching Band Festival. This is fast becoming our biggest fundraising event. It takes countless hours of work before, during and after to make this event such a huge success. From planning, program design, vendor coordination, ticket sales, concessions to band liaisons, parking lot direction and so much more. There are so many ways to help out with our annual Marching Band Festival.

Butter Braids Sales:
Each October all of our band programs sell Butter Braids to raise money for their programs. Help is needed each year in collecting orders as well as sorting and distributing the product on pick-up day.
